The location is incredible and the view from the terrace over Merano is simply breathtaking. We enjoyed the peace on the expansive meadow and watched the city lights from the pool in the evening. The choice menu at dinner was a highlight every day, fresh and creatively prepared.
Finally a hotel that doesn't feel overdone. The rooms are stylish and bright, the pool surrounded by greenery is a dream. We especially loved breakfast on the terrace and the warm hospitality of the Dilitz family. We'll definitely be back.
The KÜGLERHOF really is an island in the mountains. The 3.5 hectares of meadow offer so much space you never feel like you're at a hotel. The spa is small but perfectly formed, and the cuisine surprisingly good. A place to breathe.

Karoline Dilitz runs the KÜGLERHOF with passion and an eye for the extraordinary. Back in Dorf Tirol since 2023, she has given the property its unmistakable character together with her mother Edith. Edith brings her flair for décor and design, honed in her former interior-design shop. Simon, Karoline's husband, happily shares his passion for fly fishing with guests. At the KÜGLERHOF, characters meet, and that's exactly what makes this place special: personal, authentic, with a soft spot for art and the finer things in life.
